I may be a writer, but writing about myself definitely proves to be the hardest challenge of all.

There really isn't a whole lot to say. I've been writing for as long as I could put words to paper. With pen and paper, a typewriter, and nowadays, a laptop.  

​

For about two decades, I was certain that my genre was going to be fantasy. Some of my favorites are fantasy- Anne Bishop, Anne Rice, Robert Jordan, etc. It wasn't until more recently that I made the shift to the thriller/mystery side. 

And from a single idea during the pandemic, while I was inhaling true crime podcasts, out came the idea for the Marissa Ambrose Witness Series. And the ideas have just skyrocketed since.

Aside from being a writer, I'm also a wife and a mother of four children, kids ranging from 5 to 14 years old. And an ever-growing pack of six dogs, four cats, and now a rabbit.

 

I own my own dog walking, dog training, and pet sitting business, which at the beginning of 2022 merged with a boarding and daycare facility. Leash the Muttro Pups takes up a lot of my time, but I love my job.

When I do find free time, I enjoy playing D&D, binging tv, and visiting the ocean.
